"Where Dance Music Lives"

Xpansions “Mover Your Body” Euro House Classic

Big synths, thundering under beat, piano riffs, and a drop with Sally Ann Marsh’s haunting vocals uttering the simple line “Mover You Body, I Said Move Your Body, I Said, I Said” was a vibe and a moment on the dance floor that left an impact on you. Xpansions was on the forefront of Euro House in the 1990’s and “Move Your Body” was a white gay club call to arms during a time that clubs were moving out of New Wave into Hi-Energy dance music. This song and sound were a trademark with the then notable West Hollywood night club Rage, which had such an impact in days of the past, that if you heard a Xpansions song in any other club in Southern California you knew where it originated.
